Interval

Interval is an arts organisation with a focus on media practice. Established in 2005, it acts as a critical springboard offering exhibition opportunities to emergent and established practitioners using technology as a component of their practice. Interval manifests as a floating platform instead of a fixed collective or network. It uses itinerancy as a mode of operation, and through this fluidity seeks to frame and respond to the cultures inherent within differing sites and alternative locations.

Interval aims to initiate an arena for cutting-edge and dynamic practices, cross-disciplinary projects, and opportunities for networking and exchange for artists. Interval works with other initiatives, both national and international, seeking to create a shared dialogue and develop seed ideas for future collaborations.

Interval is co-directed by Karen Gaskill (curator and researcher) and Gary Peploe (artist and curator), both live and work in Manchester.
